Sales & Refund Policy

At East Coast Driving Academy, we are committed to providing fair, transparent, and professional payment and refund policies. Please review the following information carefully before registering for any of our programs or services.
1. Course Fees
- All course fees must be paid in full or according to an approved payment plan before a certificate of completion or any applicable certification can be issued.
- HST (14%) applies to all applicable fees.
- Administrative fees may apply for cancellations, rescheduling requests, or other special administrative services.
- Certificates will not be issued until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
2. Refunds – Online Courses
- Before Course Access: Students who cancel their registration before accessing or activating the online course will receive a full refund.
- After Course Access: Once a student has accessed or activated the online learning platform, a $100 administrative fee will apply. Access to the online course will be terminated, and any remaining eligible balance will be refunded.
- In-Car Lessons: If in-car driving lessons have been purchased but not completed, the unused portion of the lessons will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee, where applicable.
3. Refunds – In-Car Lessons
- Cancellation & Rescheduling: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an in-car driving lesson. Notice may be provided by phone or email.
- Late Cancellation or No-Show: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or failure to attend a scheduled lesson will result in the loss of that lesson without refund.
- Instructor Dispatch: Once an instructor has been dispatched to the scheduled pickup location, the lesson is considered to have commenced. Cancellations at the pickup location or failure to attend will be treated as a no-show.
4. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- E-Transfer
- Cash
Official receipts and payment confirmations are provided for all transactions.
Payments, lesson credits, registrations, and certificates are non-transferable and may not be assigned or transferred to another individual.
